Default It's trade deadline....

What is BC going to do with this squad? Any moves in the future (in other words, today)?

Maybe something small... another big, perhaps. Primoz anyone? Don't expect a blockbuster.

Trade Solomon for cash considerations and sign another big to the min. That's about all I can see. He won't be able to unload Banks and Kapono.

Could look to deal Parker and Graham's deals if he is planning to re-sign Marion. If we re-sign Marion, our cap space is gone and those to leave for nothing (unless resigned).

Solomon for O'bryant.
Hopefully parker is next or Kapono.

Good call. Except it didn't even take cash or future picks.

Should've traded Marion back to Phoenix for Richardson + filler.

We need to keep Parker and Graham for their Bird rights. If we plan to re-sign Marion for 10 million or so, we need as much depth as possible. Retaining these players and also bringing back Delfino will really help secure our bench rotation for next season. Kapono and Banks are the ones that need to go ASAP. Maybe this summer.

I like what Colangelo has done these past few days. Were they blockbuster moves? No, but you can't argue with landing one of the best super-athletic forwards of the past 10 years and improving the depth at PG and the front line without giving up anything important in the process.

I think it's obvious the team is better for it, and having some flexibility this summer doesn't hurt either.

Do you think all he has done has made up for the O'Neal trade?

I would trade TJ, Rasho and Hibbert for the Matrix anyday..

Finally. All the BS trade rumors are over... It was getting incredibly annoying. I'm disappointed about not getting rid of Kapono, Parker, or Graham but at least we know who we are for the rest of the season. Ironically, with all the talk about all these huge moves that were supposedly gonna happen, the JO for Marion trade ended up being arguably the biggest single move of all of them.

Would've been sexier had it not all happened in such a roundabout way. It's all relative - if at the end of the day you look at it that the Raptors gave up a very good backup in Ford and a good backup in Rasho in exchange for Shawn Marion and a much improved Bargnani, I can deal.
