End of story.
You're only a dynasty if you win championships. Getting to the finals isn't enough. And you gotta win more than one, which means what, the Lakers are gonna win this year, next year, and 1 of the years after that? 2010? The Year of Free Agency? A bit presumptuous, you are.

And the Suns bring in Nash, Amare, Qrich, and Joe Johnson along with Shaq. Game over. The Suns dismantle the Lakers on the way to their 3rd championship in 5 seasons.
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo why is reality so cruel.

Last year we didn't have Trevor Ariza healthy or comfortable with the team (possibly our best bench player this year) or Bynum, and I clearly said if Odom continues to play this well with Bynum back we are a dynasty. The reason I say that is because of our depth, Bynum's continuos progress and if Odom can be this aggressive off the bench for us, I really don't see a team in this league beating us. He is a completely different basketball since Drew went down.
This isn't the same Laker team that made the NBA finals last season.

this is why i didnt buy tickets for todays game. i had a feeling it wouldnt be that great, although this is the lakeshow doing whatever they want. Bought tickets for the warriors game on the 19th, ronny will make it competitive to the end for sure.
