But I'm sorry dude. You are not a FB. Hopefully Reid and company agree with me and we find one. Dont care if its in the draft or signing a vet. If i ever see Dan Klecko catch a pass and run? That'll be the day I die because when he did catch and run? I laughed my ass off where i couldnt breathe.
Ha Dan Klecko, I went to Temple while he was playing football there. He was a f*cking beast! Too bad they don't let him get any reps at DT because although he's undersized he has a crazy motor. I remember when Temple would play teams like Miami and get torn to shreds but Dan would fight triple teams and get like 3 sacks per game. I can't imagine how good he was in high school.

The biggest news, however, was that the Eagles had pinpointed a possible replacement for Dawkins by inviting free-agent safety Sean Jones to the NovaCare Complex today. Two team sources confirmed that the Eagles were extremely interested in Jones, who turned 27 Monday.
Jones, a 2004 second-round pick from Georgia, has spent his entire career with the Cleveland Browns. He emerged as a starter in 2006 and had five interceptions that season. He had five in 2007 and four more last year despite missing four games.
His 14 interceptions in the last three seasons rank him third in that category among NFL safeties, behind Baltimore's Ed Reed and St. Louis' Oshiomogho Atogwe. That's eight more interceptions than Dawkins had in the last three seasons. Jones' picks in the last three seasons equal the total number by all Eagles safeties.

Sweet! Jones has signed with the Birds. He'll meet with the media this afternoon. Great under the radar signing. 4th ranked defense in the league just upgraded at safety and have all of their young starters coming back.
27 year old Sean Jones>36 year old Brian Dawkins.
He's scheduled to meet with the media @ 3PM Eastern Time.

right on Marlo
finally a bit of good news
havent seen much of the guy, but his numbers look impressive... I dont know that he can replace Dawk's leadership (hopefully the defense doesnt take a hit in the intensity department....Dawk has been here soo long Im not sure what happens when he is gone for good) but we can assume by his numbers and age that he can cover the field and roam those zones better than Dawkins was doing at 36.....
we need a to get our O line situated and get a blocking tight end(he's gotta be able to run block at least) draft a Rb and get some wideout help...
Re: Philadelphia Eagles Offseason/Draft/Free Agency News
Now if we can just figure out what to do with that left side. I don't watch any college football away from bowl games. Anybody know about the tight end from Oklahoma State? My friend was sayin he wants him.
