Forget teammates or what he "should" play as far as the roster goes.

What is Bargnani's actual ideal, true position?

I always saw him as a PF. He lacks that quickness to match up with 3's, and he isn't strong enough to really handle centers. His rebounding isn't all that great for a C either. The only thing is our franchise guy plays the exact same position.

He's a power forward, just like young Dirk Nowitzki, can't rebound but has nice range, needs to be paired with a center who plays exclusively inside.

Perfect.

He could be a very effective power forward if he was playing with a tough rebounding center.

This is spot on and is exactly how I would've, and have, described Bargs.

AS mentioned above he is a PF and needs to be next to a tough bad ass rebounder.

One of the two needs to be traded for a top 3 pick so we can pick up a banger low post player like Thabeet or Griffin. Harden would be nice as well.

Bosh? We should be doing everything we can to keep him. A tough C could really benefit the team with Bosh. But with Bargnani? We'll never be successful. The longer this guy is here the longer we will continue to lose. And he's gonna be here for a while. We the fans, are stuck watching losers for a long while I have a feeling. The Raptors are stuck in a conundrum with Bargnani.
