Default Stackhouse or finley?

Regardless of contracts, would you rather have Fin instead of Stack?

Stackhouse is the better player right now in their careers but the way Stack shoots sometimes makes me wish Finley was still a Maverick. Neither of them attack the basket much anymore but Stack does it more than Finley. Neither are good rebounders or passers so it's a wash there. Stack's defense is better than Finley's. Also, Stack is better suited for the role of 6th man than Finley is, just because he is the more dynamic scorer. Finley is the better leader but in terms of toughness, Stack gets the edge. I don't think Finley would've tried attacking the rim with Shaq standing there, nor would he have delivered the hard foul to Shaq.

Stack, and it's not even close. Finley is nothing more than a spot up shooter these days. His defense was overrated. The only reason he even attempted to play defense this year is because he never would've gotten off the bench if he didn't. Not that Stack is a great defensive player. But he gives it his best shot. Plus Stack will still get to the free throw line. He's not afraid to take it inside. His offense off the bench was a big plus last year. Will be this year too. If he hadn't missed the first part of the season, he probably would've won the 6th man award. And after one game the press was giving that award to Finley.

im not a maverick fan but stackhouse is better because he's more of a big game player. and overall he's just a better player.

Finley is no longer the man. His Chicago years were long ago. Just like most of his game. While I have heard many good things about Finley, and used to say a few myself. Basketball IQ wasn't one of them. Mike does have a better jumper, but that's all he has.

Default Stack

We won more games without Finley and beat the Spurs and Suns without him.
