I understand about the shredding trust me. I had a argument going with this kid who though dragonforce was the best thing on this planet. You don't have to tell me that.

Lol @ "InLebronWeTrust". Saying stuff like "SVR could do a Hendrix song and do it 10 times better than Hendrix.". If you have said that to Stevie's face he would have knocked you out for your ignorance. Why do you think SVR was so influenced by Hendrix? Because Hendrix is the great one, when it comes to electric guitar. Clapton idolized Hendix before Hendrix even had a record out, and Clapton was already one of the greatest guitarists ever at that point.

I'm not a guitar player huh? You sure about that.. can you quiz me or something. I've been playing for a few years. What kind of guitar do you have? I have a vintage strat with some seymour duncans I put in and an ovation celebrity 6 string.. That was my first one I ever had. I have a nice little vox valvetronix 30 watt amp with some nice little presets. Yeah, you're right though.. I don't play, I just bought it for shyts and giggles.
OK, so we've established that you actually own a guitar. That's nice and all, but it doesn't change the fact that you don't know a lick about the history of electric guitar or Hendrix's importance. Seriously, you are way out of your league when speaking about Jimi, and you've been embarrassed numerous times in this thread because you haven't had any rebuttal for anything I've said so far.

And I wasn't going to go here, but since you're apparently sending me PMs demanding I respond to whether or not I play guitar, yeah I do, and I'm pretty positive I could play circles around you, kid.

The fact that you referenced Rolling Stone as them being the best judge of who's better than whom gives you no credibility regarding the music industry. With the exception of your boy Morello (Mr. Creativity), Mayer and Black are absolute garbage.

Brian May is great and you're insane.

Clapton is great but not one of my favorites. Hendrix great too, but a little overrated for me. Only had a few years, but didn't show a lot of diversity. If he lived it would have been interesting to see where he went after the late 60's early 70's. I imagine a move into jazz fusion.

Guitarists I like more; Steve Hackett, Gary Moore, Gilmour, Neil Schon, Terry Kath, Vivian Campbell, Gossard, Walter Becker

That excludes jazz (Kenny Burrell) and Classical (endless list).
