Default Top 5 indie songs

There are so many fantastic choices out there, so it was kind of hard to narrow it down but these are my current stand outs.

Pinback-B

The cribs-be safe

The decemberist-the mariners revenge

Interpol-evil

Elbow-grounds for a divorce

And have to give a honorable mention to the dresden dolls-first orgasm and the perfect fit are amazing songs.

So yeah those are my top 5.

The Cribs - Im Alright Me
Interpol - Untitled (I could probably fill all 5 spots with Interpol)
The Brian Jonestown Massacre - Just for Today
The Dandy Warhols - We Used to be Friends
The Arcade Fire - Rebellion (cliche, I know)

By the way, ya don't see too many Jim Greco fans around these parts.

Nice list there, arcade fire is another one of my favorites and about Jim Greco, I skate and he's one of my favorites to ever shred it, not the best out there but his madness made up for it. I don't think there are many others that skate or are into skating around here either.

Your misguided disrespect for this genre is unwarranted, while my disgust for the vast amount of weak metal bands out there is all too true.

WTF is that? Seriously I love slayer, lamb of god, mastodon, Danzig(yes they're metal) him, pantera, metallica, deep purple, killswitch and all the classics but it's a dying genre dude. Plus you discredit indie yet you don't take time to even listen to some of the bands out there.

No. Good indie doesn't exist. If this was the underwear industry, indie would be Fruit of the Loom.

Very true. No confrontation here, just trying to encourage some open mindedness from the Ill informed. That's all.
