If T.O. behaves, the Bills may end up as a #5 or #6 in the AFC. The Bills started 4-0 last year and Lee Evans had over 1,000 yards. If T.O. does behave, Evans would greatly benefit.

Behave? TO always behaves the first year with a new team. Plus he only has a 1yr deal and no way is going to jeopardize a new deal next offseason. Lee Evans had over 1,000yds? Whooptee doo!
The big question is Trent Edwards. Smarten up

That isnt mocking we love all of the smilies, keep it up goob.
Right because we all use an abundance of smilies within 1 post. And even double them up like so

Is this post stupid? I think so. Garcia is a system guy? What does that even mean? Can he throw it as hard as Roethlisberger? Pretty much. Is Gobb still bitter Garcia came into Philly and showed up McNaab? Definitely. If Garcia is a system, QB, what does that make McNaab? The most overrated player in the game? Yep.
How did he show up Mcnabb? Eagles changed the entire playbook to suit Heff Garcia limited abilities. He was never put into positions where he was relied on to make plays. He could never make the throws Mcnabb has. He could never run the offense as Mcnabb does. You're hate for Mcnabb is stupid. If Garcia never played in Philly you dont reply. You lack a clue which isnt abnormal.
As a long-time, die hard Buccaneer fan, I can admit that JEFF GARCIA IS A HORRIBLE PLAYER, but you are right, he is a great leader. HOWEVER, I am extremely glad we didn't re-sign him and I'm much more comfortable with LUKE MCCOWN as our starting QB this coming season.
Garcia got happy feet way too often and only went through his first read. He NEVER threw the ball more than 10 yards and is below average accuracy.
There's a reason why Garcia is still lookin for work.
this actually sums up Garcia pretty well..
*one read
*happy feet under pressure
*Weak arm
*pretty fiery guy
when inside his range his accuracy was pretty decent. He is obviously not on McNabbs level as a Qb..... but he isnt a bum tho... he is just limited
I don't think TO is washed up at all personally. I think Romo was part of TO's problem in that he didn't look for TO as much as Witten, and when he did things just didn't click where it wouldn't be thrown in the right place for TO to take advantage of his size or reach, or it was thrown well where TO dropped it. I think TO still has the advantage vs any CB in the league depending on where the QB throws it.
People who don't watch the players they assume are great wouldn't know how overrated Garcia is/was for TB since all SportsCenter and NFL Primetime do is hype him. He played very spot duty in Philly, unlike in TB where they were relying on him as their starting QB from the start. Its one thing to not make mistakes and try and 'manage' the game. But when you don't give your receivers chances to even make plays, and just running around with happy feet, then you deserve to be benched. That got to be one of the most frustrating things to watch as a fan/coach, a QB that is scared to throw the ball I'll take Brian Griese over Garcia personally. Garcia is just overhyped because most people didn't watch him or remember his bad games, rather than what he does occasionally, acting like he always does that. Just makes me laugh how Tom Jackson and Berman hype him like he does no wrong and they are supposed to be 'experts' ..and the sheep follow.
The problem was the offensive coordinator and playcalling. While TO is a thorn in your ass. He basically spoke the truth and said what other offensive players thought/felt. Most notably Tony Romo. The way TO goes about delivering the message especially to the media is all wrong. Also keep in mind his history in relation with the media? Yes there is a double standard where if Tony Romo went about it the same way wouldnt draw so much criticism. But Owens made the bed even if Ed Werder was a sneaky stir the pot reporter in igniting the flame.
Its like Rasheed Wallace arguing about a foul call and actually being in the right. Yet he recieves a tech. You have a rep. Its messed up but you made it that way for the most part. Even if you are right in arguing a bogus call you gotta be conscience of the reaction and consequences to follow.
Dallas off cord was the problem. Not T.Owens. Not Romo throwing to Witten more times than any Cowboy reciever. Def and Off cord sucked ass to me in Dallas.
