Just a quick question, is it possible to get a video that you are watching on Youtube on your PC?...There's a scarce video I just located and will like to get it on my freaking hard drive.

Thanks B.Diaw.

Blue Bear, No surprise you're of no help. Probably the reason why you're extinct or never developed.

The flash videos on youtube are downloaded to your PC when you watch them. You can find them in the "temporary internet files" on your PC...

Maxfly, that's true but I've searched my temporary internet files and they aren't there which led me to post this topic.

By the way Maxfly, I think I found it in 'Temp' but how do I view it since it's in .tmp format?

Depending on how your computer is set up, things may be different, but let me see if I can help.

What you'll have to do is go to your C: drive or whatever the name of your drive is that holds your system files...

Go to Tools: Folder Options: View

Select "Show hidden files and folders"

In C: select Documents and Settings

more to come... let me know when you get there...

the easiest way is to just go to www.youtubex.com or www.keepvid.com for Google videos. Paste the web address in, it finds the flv links you to it.

actually go to this site and download. you can convert the FLV files to other types in order to see. just found out myself. hope this works for you.

just found out you can only use it a few times (free trial) before it asks for payment
