Appreciate rapper Raekwon in this thread. Post your favorite songs, verses, etc. from the Chef. I'll post my favorite feature verses he did for other people's albums. His guest spots are always excellent.

yeah he spits mostly gangster rap, but not like an ignorant fool. he's similar to AZ altho i think he's better. he's kind of an acquired taste IMO, his voice and his lyrics might put yu off at first like it did with me but the more i listened to him the more i came to really like him.

This fat bastard, albeit OBCL was dope. No rapper will ever be mafioso or gangster in real life. Thug? maybe. Thugness and obnoxiousness doesn't get you in trouble, just laughed at. All you have to do is perfect the attitude.

Props to Method Man, Inspectah, and the RZA for keeping it lyrical.

The best thing about Raekwon is at the beginning of his songs he always is telling some coke head to stop trippin...

the other best thing about Raekwon songs is that Ghost is usually on them.... Ghost is the truth

my main raek/ghost song is 'Necro' right now... the beat is crazy with monks chanting/singing in the background and toney and Raekwon ripping this track up
