Olympiacos was dumb for offering a slightly above average bench player a monster contract and expecting him to be the star of their team.

Ukic wasn't great in Europe but he still started for Barca and Rome.
excuse me I support barca and he did not start for us!!
He came off the bench and sometimes only played 5 mins!

Belgrade proved this year what a great venue their arena would be with over 21000 fans filling up the stadium for a top 16 game.I am from the UK I know,I have to watch euroleague game over the net because no tv station shows it,most people think It laughable if I am happy cause barca won a euroleague game thinking I was talking of a champions league game they think its a *****'s game(when football is the one for *******) they think 6 guys go to watch a game,don't realise how much money is involved and how popular the sport is in Europe.Everything about Basketball in the UK is NBA even amongst basketball fans. I know a lot of basketball people in the UK and its amazing how ignorant they are about the european game.Really London does not deserve the final four because it doesnt appreciate how big it is.

Sarunas Jasikevicius, one of the greatest european point guards ever;
Manu Ginobili, is a ball-handler, is a passer, is a scorer, he can do everything on offense;
Tony Parker, the best scoring point guard in NBA;
Dirk Nowitzki, nobody can stop his fall-way jump shot;
Ramunas Siskauskas, he loves the one-on-one duels and easily stops and shots in front of his opponent;
Pau Gasol, the smartest basketball players;
Andrea Bargnani, he is the italian future and could a all-star in NBA;
Hedo Turkoglu, He is 6-9 tall and plays the point as well as so many PG's, for over there is a clutch player;
Mehmet Okur, the 7-0 who can easily shot 3s;
Yao Ming, the best offensive NBA center.

agree with most of that,nothing wrong with your choices. If I was a coach I would rather have Calderon as point guard than Parker,but then I am not.

As real point guard, Caldern is way better then Parker, because he involves well his teammates and look to assist first. Parker is a terrific scorer, who also can shot and assist but what he loves to do is attack the basket.

I like Calderon better than Parker but the problem with him is that he can't defend anyone.

Andris Biedrins should move way up. I think his character makes him truly
unique. I love him.

This list would be more interesting, if it was top 10 international players not currently in the NBA. I think I would actually learn some stuff.

what about a couple Aussies? Bogut is certainly worthy of top 10 mention, Patrick Mills could be there in a few years, and guys like Chris Anstey and CJ Bruton have been doing awesome in foreign competition for years.
