Lamar is a Point Guard in a SF/PF body, one of the most versatile players in the league, players like that are very rare. Bibby shoots 43% from the field, Artest shoots 38%, think about it.

But Mike Bibby has a little thing that Lamar will never have.... a consistent career.

Throughout his 8 year career he has displayed the same rock solid point guard skills, unlike Lamar who has the potential to be one of the most versatile players in the league, but just can't put it together every night.

Lamar is a potential 20, 10 and 5 guy. Even at his size he's a better passer/playmaker than Mini-Me.

Bibby is an overglorified (****ing cow-town) midget who's legacy was built in a series where he torched Derek f*ckin' Fisher (see also: Troy Hudson, and others). Ever since Webber left Bibby's been exposed as the overrated bat-boy clone he is.

If you were a GM you'd take Kobe alone over Artest and Bibby, add Lamar to the mix and it's no contest. Kobe and Lamar together average 50 points, 14.5 rebounds, 10 assists.

I think Artest and Bibby suits our team better, but Kobe and Lamar is the better duo.

It's a statement that's a little overshooting though. Although Lamar is a triple double threat everytime he's on the floor but, is he really in the mold of a Magic? Picture a player of today's NBA who are in that mold. Do you think Lamar plays a similar game of let's say a Jason Kidd? I'd even say Lebron is more closer to the mold of a new age Magic, and even that may be a little bit of a stretch. Lamars strenghts are more points and boards where Magic is more pass first then points. Lamar is a post who can play point, Magic is a point who can play post. I ain't putting illegal down, but it is a bit of a stretch.

Actually Odom averaged more assists than Bibby as a FREAKING SF, he got just as many steals, 6 more rebounds, 5% better FG percentage, plays better defense than Bibby, creates matchups all over the floor, and only shot 1% worse from 3pt range. So besides being inconsistent, how is Bibby better? What about Artest vs. Kobe? Care to explain?

I remember i the beginning of last season Phil Jackson used to yell at Lamar for passing to much

Lets look at Bibby's playoff statistics for the past two seasons shall we?

2006: 17 PTS, 5 AST, 35% FG

2005: 20 PTS 7 AST. 39% FG

That's some performance by Kermit the Frog, eh

Lamar's playoffs stats this past season:

19 PTS 11 REB 5 AST, 49% FG

Because you claim that they are better! Do you care to bring up facts that prove me wrong or do you agree?

Everyone in the history of basketball has created a matchup on the floor. Heck put me on the floor and it would create a matchup... me versus whomever i guarded.

haha
