That was funny.

So if you were a GM, which duo would you pick to start your franchise?

Edit: I meant to say matchup problems.

But how are they a better duo?
Basically it comes down to you saying that Bibby is more better than Odom than Kobe is more better than Artest

End of thread, didn't expect this ridiculous comparison to last long anyway.

And when Shaq left, Kobe failed to make the playoffs. I believe Artest is a better impact player than Kobe. No way in hell we make that playoff run with Kobe replacing Artest. Bibby FG% took a hit when he became a 1st option, what did Lamar shoot in Miami and LAC? 01 42% 02 44% 03 43%, not to mention the low IQ.

As individual talents

Kobe > Artest
Odom > Bibby

For guys I want on my team

Kobe < Artest
Odom < Bibby

Artest has made teams better with his hard nose defensive play...just look at the pacers now without him and when he came to the kings they were below 500 and I think they had the second best record in the second half of the season too....and bibby is a guy you could give the ball to in the clutch...

as for Kobe, hes got skills no doubt and could score on demand and is a future hall of famer...but he wont make your team any better, he needs another superstar to complement him to win (I dont know somebody like Shaq) but kobe wont make a team better like artest does (when hes on the court, not talking about the off the court stuff) and odom is inconsistant.....

Good post from a non biased view. Someone knows basketball is more than just scoring and stats.
