1. we're not getting all that for marbury

.. what about this trade? does it seem even near reality?

pros and cons (not telling which is which )
1. Larry might like Andre Miller's style (he's avg. on def, right?)
2. Denver might have too many fowards (or just really big guys, see it either way)
3. Marbury in Portland, working with his cousin, Telfair. Possible chemistry? (Zach might stay and we might witness another Gary Patyon/Kemp type of game, Nene is also there to help Zach out).
4. Knicks get Ratliff who worked with Brown before. Kenyon goes back to the East, a much smaller division. Andre goes to the East as well.
5. We Keep Francis.

marbury would have to go to denver.
denver gives up 3 solid players for crawford (not much trade value) miles (who's not going back to portland and will get traded for any trash) and taylor (expirer that does nothing for the nuggs)

portland wouldn't get nene alone for theo and miles just cuz they are overpaid and cancers.

knicks get a good deal but we take on more large contracts that we don't need.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/feature...18~18~22~18~18
fixed but still bad

cleveland wants to get rid of hughes and not that long ago they said that gooden might be gone too. We need role players and good defenders. Gooden is a great rebounder and larry brown loves snow, whos a great vet that plays good D.

that would leave us with

PG francis/snow/nate
SG hughes/richardson
SF rose/woods/draft pick
PF gooden/frye/taylor/rose
C curry/james/butler

i don't know if cleveland would want marbury so portland might get involved and throw in randolph and miles
so the trade would end up looking like this http://games.espn.go.com/nba/feature...8~18~18~5~18~5
in this deal we would have to send our first round picks to portland

more adjustments
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/feature...8~18~22~5~18~5
and pick 20 goes to cleveland, 29 goes to portland

Atleast in your adjustments Portland has some more cap room.. from what it looks like. they can sign some of the new players which are entering the free agent pool.

looks good, and it's fair for all teams. Looking at it from a Knicks perspective, we get 3 defensive minded players. Brilliant.
