I don't think he'll ever get MVP either. He would have to post some obscene stats and Mavs have the best record. But then being a homer. I do think he can get a ring. He needs to use the attitude he had for the Spurs and Suns. He got tired of losing to them, so hopefully he's tired of losing to the Heat.

Dirk is no shot blocker and i think he is still considered adequant on help defense. Players with the caliber of Dwyane Wade will blow past him, but i think that he is still solid enough on defense. About working hard? i think is brings it night after night.

I agree that MVP for Dirk doesn't seem likely and i strongly believe Mavs will win it this year because Dirk is a comeback type of player and the Heat will be at the top of his to beat list.

I won't say Dirk would never get MVP, if Steve Nash can win it....

And what position does Dirk play? is he a small forward or is he a power forward?

Dirk is primarily a PF now. There are a few instances when he is at center, but very few. He hasn't done any time at sf since Walker and Jamison left.
