if you wanna know the lakers problem look at the way Kobe plays defense. He's pretty darn good but won't bother against guys he considers to be scrubs....even if they light him up as it often happens.

The team is the same way. They are pretty darn good but don't bother showing up against teams they don't think are a credible threat. Usually we pull off a win and sometimes it backfires.

At this point in the season, with that much of an advantage over the other western conference teams, I think its safe to say the Lakers are on cruise mode. What were the minutes like for the stars on the Lakers tonight?

sh!t is right, accurate. Lakers dont give a **** right now. Record wise, they're happy where they are. Nobody has a better record than us in the west, or in the league outside of the cavs. THE CAVS ARE NOT FOREAL. Dont get me wrong, theyre good, but they arent on that laker,celtic,spur level. Atleast not yet. Lakers have the best away record in the league, in the finals, guys like Mo' williams, Big Z, Varejeo, Wally wont do much. Guys like Gasol, Odom, Fisher will bring you the same sh!t if not more.


The lakers are just pacing them selves for the end of the race, making sure they can cross that finish line first, and strong.

You want everyone healthy and ready to roll.

Lakers really should just coast and get ready for the playoffs but they made it a goal to get HCA throughout as they know how key it was last year. Although as long as Bynum is healthly and playing well it shouldn't matter too much. However having homecourt against the Cavs is far better than without and having to win in the Q if both teams make it to the finals.

If the Suns upset the Lakers, would Kobe be considered a bigger choker than Dirk?

Similarly, when the East's 8th seed upsets the Cavs, would LeBron be considered a bigger choker than Dirk?

Or will those flameouts make no difference because Kobe and Lebron aren't white?

No because even if that happened, Dirk had a season where he lost in the finals, and then lost in the first round, So Kobe would be an equal choker lol.

and same with lebron.
