Re: Predict the record of Cavs and Lakers
I say Cavs win 12 of their last 16 games so their record would be 65-17

They are at home. It's hard to bet against the Cavs when they have more home games than the Lakers.

thats true but look at the teams they're going up against, the first 4-5 games are a breeze or at least should be.
I think it is safe to say the lakers have home court advantage over boston if both meet

I agree with what you are saying as the Lakers have alot of road games to finish the finish but the Lakers are the best road team in the NBA so although alot are away from Staples there are plenty of games there agaimst average to bad teams while the Cavs have to play teams such as Celtics, Magic, Spurs for example..being at home is a big advantage for them but they aren't going to end the season with just 1 home loss. They will likely slip up a few times at home. They have gotten close lately against some bad teams.
Cavs need to have a better record than L.A to get homecourt through as the Lakers have the head to head.

It'll be in limited time though. They might just end up tied.

Re: Predict the record of Cavs and Lakers
wow. Didn't realize that the Cavs have only 5 away games remaining...only one of which is tough (orlando).
Cavs could very likely end up with home court advantage thruout the playoffs.

Lakers lose the final game in a heartbreaker after double OT, blowing their Home Court Advantage by one game for the Finals if they were to meet there.
