I'm ordering now. I dont really mind the wait. In fact, I'm ordering two because I'm thinking of buying a DS for myself again.

LJJ, How does the DS perform when running PC games? What kind of games can it run? (I'm assuming only dos-era stuff). Can the stylus act as a mouse? Sorry for all the questions..

The only PC games I have on there are old school adventures, like Monkey Island:

It runs them flawlessly, full stylus support. The only minor issue is that the DS screen doesn't have regular dimensions.

Oh... My... GOD!!!

I'm getting a boner just thinking about playing the King's Quest games on a DS...

Is there a limit to what kind of games it can run? Monkey Island wasn't too graphically intense if I recall. Something like King's Quest 7 (which looked similar to a hand-drawn cartoon) probably wouldn't fare so well..

i got the 8gig card for 20 bucks on boxing day
i was actually more interested in the fact that it was class 6 and that it had a sweet microsd usb card reader on it. made transferring to and from much easier

The emulator you can use for this is Scummvm, and it's limited to the more old school adventures.

Here is a list with the supported games:

GOBLIIINS!! WOOHOO! I love those games. Thanks for the link again. I'm still trying to order because I'm having problems with paypal.

edit: Whoa, I clicked the link to see the Sierra AGI games that are compatible:

Kings Quest 1-4
Leisure Suit Larry
Police Quest

I'm so freakin pumped. I grew up on these games and I cant wait to play them again.

I got mine from ds deals and it took about 2-3 weeks which was pretty gay. Love that **** though. I reccommend getting a gameboy/gameboy color emulator and putting those games on there. ****ing fun playing some nba jam 99.
