I too, think he did well at the SPL... so I hope you are right. Much to improve, but much improvement shown! (which is exactly why i dont want to trade him yet)

But the reason I was making this trade was to find a solution for when the day comes (kobe retires) we could still be successful.

But i thought too far ahead...sorry guys

I just think we do not know what the talent pool will be in 2-4 years? There may be options for players that we had never considered at this time... (i.e. Lebron).

Instead of trading mihm since hes proven. here is a thought.

Keep mihm...BUT:

Bostin celtics get:

C andrew Bynum
G Von Wafer

Lakers get:

Gerald Green
Dwyane Jones

The reason wafer and jones are in this is to make the trade workable.

Now we can keep two centers in kwame and Mihm. Since Kobe is in His prime already we need to find someone that can contribute almost the way Kobe is doing and this is thinking ahead...Gerald Green is supposed to be the next Tracy McGrady and hes been doing good in Boston in his very few minutes.

For the celtics...since they dont have a good Center, They should take a gamble on who could be a superstar, Bynum.

So we got a future solution for when Bryant retires in Gerald Green, and the celtics got a nice little project to work on and it can pay off for them.
I like this idea. It'd give us more depth at the forward. Gerald Green = MAJOR hops. As much as I like Bynum, I think it'll take him some time to get used to playing with the Lakers.

If the Lakers wanted Green, they would take him. Bigs like Bynum don't come often, don't like it, we can get way more.

whats funny is green was available when we were about to choose.

Because of several rumors I heard I was expecting green to be a laker.

but Bynum is good too.

nice attempt at a trade scenario. I always appreciate the attempt. In this case, I don't make the trade. I want to see what Bynum becomes. Since they are both young, neither will help much immediately. If we trade Bynum, it should be part of a greater package that brings us that big-time missing piece.
