I remember watching the directors commentary on that episode, and they said that scoured old baseball stat books to find the old timiest sounding names they could.
They also said Canseco was a total pain in the ass to work with. They had some other bit worked out for him, but he wouldn't do it, and they wound up throwing that burning house thing together at the last minute. They were going to give him Griffey's steroid bit too, because he was recording later, and they figured they'd come up with something else, but Canseco wouldn't record that either. Which would have been gold.

Lol im not suprised at all @ the Canseco thing. He seems like he would be a douche about any thing he didnt want to do.
