Bench Jerry Stackhouse
Bench Jeff Foster
Bench J.R. Smith
I like your squad its pretty solid. I would try to maybe find another center on the waiver wire thats maybe a little better player than foster because with al harrington on the roster now he might be coming off the bench. Maybe another pretty good 3 point shooter might help out also. But overall pretty solid.
What centers are available on the free agent list?
Blount could be ok. He's starting at center for the Wolves I think. Other than that, Foster beats all of them, unless you really need blocks or something.
12 teams with 13 players on a team, and you got that squad? 156 players drafted and you came up with about 6 top 50 players in the league. Nice!!
Should I either be impressed with your draft skills or should I be embarrassed for the quality of your opponents? What was the draft order of your team and what pick did you have? I'm wondering a few examples of who were some questionable players drafted before Billups, Randolph, and RJ?
Only think I can think of is 3's being a challenge some weeks. But if thats the only real worry about your team, then, barring any injuries, you should be gold.
I just added Kwame. I had first pick, so I went with James.
This is a winner's league so pretty much all of the owners are experienced.
Round Pick Player Position
1. (1) L. James SF
2. (24) D. Howard PF
3. (25) C. Billups PG
4. (48) R. Jefferson SF
5. (49) Z. Ilgauskas C
6. (72) R. Felton PG
7. (73) J. Nelson PG
8. (96) N. Krstic PF,C
9. (97) J. Howard SG,SF
10. (120) Z. Randolph PF
11. (121) J. Stackhouse SG,SF
12. (144) J. Foster PF,C
13. (145) M. Harpring SG,SF
Mo Pete and JOE Smith went before Billups. Not many questionable picks before Jefferson. I got Randolph in the 10th round so Gooden, Mihm, Foyle, Haslem, Dalembert, Dunleavy, and others went before him. I think what really helped my team were J Howard and Z Randolph in the 9th and 10th rounds.
I just dropped Jerry Stackhouse for Earl Watson. Was this a good idea? I'm a little heavy on point guards (got 4). Are 2 SGs enough?

1) What is a winner league? Is that just what you are calling your competition or is it an actual type of league with rules that I should be aware of?
2) I play on Yahoo. We start PG/SG/SF/PF/C/Util/Util/Util and we get some cats to warm the bench. Players qualified for more than one position a lot of the time. R. Jeff was a SG/PF. KG was a SF/PF. L. James was PG/SG/SF. And Diaw was a SG/SF/PF/C. That was a lil ridiculous. But Yahoo determined the players positions and updated them if needed. So when you say that you have only 2 SG's I'm thinking that your league is done differently? Is that so? Must be cuz with the Yahoo format we use Jameer, James, Howard, Jefferson and JR Smith would all be SGs and most would be something else. What is typical in that format is a 12 man team having an abundance of SGs cuz its a 2ndary position that Yahoo feels pretty much 50% of every SFs and PGs qualify for in the league. That makes the PF/C position guys like Sheed, Okur, and Diaw really valuable cuz if you can avoid having a loser C on your squad just for the sake of filling that C spot. Centers are a dying breed.
So if your league is similar but not as liberal as mine, shoot me the positions that your players qualify for. And is this H2H or is it a statistical function +/- to get a total fantasy point number combinint all categories?
3) Did Joe Smith draft Joe Smith in your league? Cuz, I mean Mo Pete can swing a justification to warrant that draft spot, but Joe Smith in the top 20? Did someone think this was the 1996 fantasy draft or is Joe himself your boy? Maybe he was using Sege Genesis Coach K to draft his squad? If thats the case...I take Respert first....Duncan next....Lou Roe next...Travis Best...Duncan...and then UCONNS 7th man on that team, Ray Allen.
