Default Triangle Offense - Is this the problem with the Lakers right now?

Forgive my ignorance, but I am not fully aware of how the triangle offense works. When it was explained to me, I got the understanding that it promoted off the ball movement and passing.

But over the past few games, I've noticed very little movement and not a whole lot of passing going on. What am I missing here?

In this thread, there is an explanation of the Triangle Offense... http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=101819

The Lakers do run the Triangle, but their issues are more about energy and heart right now and not executing with precision (which takes energy)... they look like a tired team.

The Triange has nothing to do with their current situation and level of play.

Perhaps you are not familiar with a player named Kobe Bryant. He is notorius for stepping out of the offense.

In all seriousness, they have clearly incorporated some pick/roll with Kobe & Gasol. Also, watch for Odom coming down the lane after the pick/roll occurs (Kobe/Gasol pick-roll, ball goes to Gasol, defensive help comes over, Odom slashes down the middle, Gasol gets assist)
