Craig Brackins, he was most likely a lottery pick and probably won't even move up, possibly even move down next year with how stacked next year's class is looking.

Wall, Davis, Favors, Motiejunas, Aminu, Monroe, Cousins, Warren, Bradley, Holiday, Aldrich, and possibly even Gallon are probably going to be picked ahead of him. That slides him down to the 12 spot right away, and if he doesn't put up big time numbers, he could slip further.

LOL.
How can you possibly predict where people are going to picked a year from now??

I'm gonna bring this post back up around a year from now.

If we simply consider the draft value (i.e. would they have been picked high and get nice contracts) I think Brackins, Monroe and Aldrich should have left.

It's not very likely that Collins or Turner can do much more either to lift their stock, but since this is a deep PG draft, I think Collins was smart to stay. Not sure about Turner. Warren is someone who can still improve in college and I think he was smart to stay.

Cole Aldrich (F-C)- Kansas Good decision, will be a top 5 pick next year, great chance to win a national championship.

Sherron Collins (G)- Kansas Good decision, not a major NBA prospect and this is a good PG draft, he gets a degree and if he plays a vital role in Kansas winning the chip, he could become a first rounder.

Greg Monroe (F-C)- Georgetown Good decision, could be a top 3 pick if he improves his athleticism and offense in the off-season, whereas he would have been only top 10 or so after a disappointing seasonfor G-Town.

Willie Warren (G)- Oklahoma Bad decision, had a lot of hype, would have been top 10, won't improve on that due to size.

Kyle Singler (F)- Duke Good decision, dude is never going to be significant in the NBA, poor man's Dunleavy Jr., he may as well carve out a college legacy.

Jeremy Hazell (G)- Seton Hall Who?

Al Farouq-Aminu (F)- Wake Forest Good decision, assuming he improves his overall game next year, could be higher pick than he would have been.

De'Sean Butler (G-F)- West Virginia Good college player, not a significant NBA prospect.

Evan Turner (F)- Ohio State Hard to say, could very well improve his draft stock. Didn't have whole lot of hype. Lets say good decision so long as he improves next season.

Craig Brackins (F)- Iowa State Very bad decision, there is no way this guy improves his draft stock, he would have been a mid-late lottery pick this year, probably falls out of the lottery next year.

Devin Ebanks (F)- West Virginia Good decision, dude is not ready for the NBA, but has great potential as a tall SF.

Manny Harris (G)- Michigan This guy was a second rounder, and will be a second rounder next year. May as well get a degree.
^^^^^

Ed Davis made a good decision, he will be the star on UNC next year, will solidify himself as a lottery pick.

Greg Monroe could have been the second overall pick in this draft if he stayed in especially seeing how weak it is. I don't know how much higher he thinks he'll go.

Moteinjunas is the best prospect who is choosing not to enter this draft- he would have been a top 3 pick this year or will be a top 3 pick next year

Why is he not in this draft? Buyout? Wants to wait? To me it would be smarter to enter and tell teams he may not come to nba for a while, that way he could either go top 3 or almost choose the team he goes to

I think aminu would have been a high pick but think he wouldn't be ready to produce so smart decision

Manny harris imo also smart as this is a deep gaurd draft and harris could breakout next year and raise his stock

I agree w the statement about willie warren- he will have to have a great year to move up from the hype of his potential now- I think he's lottery this year and could potentialy fall off the radar unless he is a bigtime star next season

The only two guys that I think made mistakes are Monroe and Aldrich. Monroe would have probably been a top 5 pick, you can't improve much on that. Aldrich is the type of guy that will get hated on like Hansbrough when he becomes one of the more popular players in college basketball next season. I don't see him every being more than a mid/late lottery pick. I am a huge fan, but I just don't see the upside in terms of where he gets drafted.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe not top 2(could have) but he wasn't going to slip to far.
