You know what I love doing...
Using the Heat and trading Haslem and Moon + 2 1st rounders for Granger and Foster

So fun than I use my MLE and sign a backup PF....Then I got lucky and the Nets offered their 1st and Hayes for Dorrell Wright

Chalmers-Wade-Granger-Beasley-O'Neal
Head-Cook-Hayes-Jones(i use James Jones)-Magliore

pretty good team

as for the topic...I rather pick up a Rookie Center than have Cardinal(6'8") as my C

You basically need three scorers. Two starters and one bench player.

I could build one right now for you and I bet they'd win a championship [hopefully]

Deron Williams
Ronnie Brewer
Shane Battier
David West
Tyson Chandler

Jason Terry
and scrubs

You need to build a team that would win a championship in real life. Your team has three players that dominate the ball with CP3, Roy and LeBron. There's only one ball.

You can pick and pop/roll with West and Chandler every play and score 200 easily. Battier brings the D and opens up the floor with his three point shooting and Brewer is just another wing who can run the floor during the break. Bench doesn't really matter, you've got the Jet.

That makes sense. I have tried so many different teams and never managed to get a championship, I figured making the most "stacked" team I could with superstars would be guarenteed win, ill go for balance next time.

No luck

my exact team was

D will
Ronnie Brewer
Shane Battier
David West
Tyson Chandler

Jason Terry
Andre Kirilenko
Brandon Bass
Paul Millsap
+scrubs

Made the playoffs the first year as the 3rd seed but got knocked in the first round. Second year Deron Williams was injured for half of the season, did not even make the playoffs. Third year made the playoffs as 5 seed and got stomped in the first round again.

Dude I would not be suprised! My associations were pretty successful in 2k8. I built a Warriors team which won 5 championships in a row with 2k8. I cant buy a championship for the life of me in 2k9.

Such an unnecessary shame. Hans Wolfe is just sitting there waiting, practicing his post-moves while you fade away in futility.

I went online and picked up Hans Wolfe, and also Jordan, and I did win a championship with those two on my Blazer team, but its just not the same as winning it legit.

Victory at last! Yes! The Wolfe is on the loose and can't be stopped!

Anyway, I am glad it worked for you but I understand your feelings. You are trying to keep it "legit" and that is honorable. For me personally, I have found it very difficult to win a Championship (simming) without adding a created player to the roster.

To be fair, I add at least one created player to each team to give them a player that fills a need for them. This makes actually playing the game more difficult/rewarding for me. I use the Bulls exclusively and between watching them all-season and using them in the game, I can't take any more mediocrity.

It's not like I win every game with Hans, but win or lose I have a player that I really like to play with. It's always fun to see a player I created do something cool, it just makes me feel more involved in the game.
