Eazy was straight outta Kelly Park and Dre and Cube were affiliated....I don't understand why people automatically think they are "studio" gangstas.

Living standards? Maybe in the poorer rural areas. Other then that, not really. I've seen more German cars (albeit they are stolen lol) in Albania then I have in my white Suburban town that I reside in the states.

They were all hired to portray the hard image but look at today's rapper who is just portraying the image while there are just a few that actually walked the walk. Even if you don't count N.W.A. as having cred, look at Ice-T, he portrayed the image. Today's gangster rappers umm Plies? so far all his mainstream singles have been the same song but with a different singer singing the hook. Other rappers have been proven as frauds. Rappers with real cred emphasize that cred through lyrics and flow rather then going around acting ignorant and hard.
The only thing I implied by that picture was that at one time that was considered gangster.

Ice T was a former drug dealer and pimp. He lived what he rapped about, and had legit cred. You are babbling about nothing.

That's exactly what i said, that if you don't count Eazy E having cred you have to count ICE-T who portrayed the lifestyle he lived but ummm was his dressing style similar to the way N.W.A. is dressed in this picture yes it was. Thus saying that once that's how gangsters were portrayed not like today's baggy clothes with sagging pants.

Street toughs dressed then differently than they do now because clothing styles were different. I have watched Gs go from looking like Cube and em in that pic, to looking like cholos with Dickie pants and flannel shirts, to rocking Dickie Work suits, to rocking Girbaud jeans and wifebeaters. Styles change. Once again you are babbling about nothing.

How do you take the same thing I said that at one time that style was considered gangster expand it to include more examples as to how style has changed thus validating my argument and then say I'm babbling.
