Default DiLeo 7-6 since taking over

2-0 with Brand in the lineup. Took over a 9-14 team. Hey I'm not saying he's coach of the year material here, but just giving him a little bit of credit.

i like him so far. u can see hes better with x's and o's then cheeks. he has been stressing the fast break. hes been playing dalembert less and speights more. he has been pairing lou with miller in the backcourt more. and he knows when to switch defense for offense. my only complaint is still no time for rush.

he's given time to Ivey too. I thought all he could give us is D (which he has), but he's given us some long distance shooting as well. i've been impressed.

yeah i have been really impressed with ivey. he has hit his open shots and he plays great defense. but i wanna see rush come in and give us great offense. he is a upgrade from cheeks. and by the looks of it this team is gonna have a great second half of the season our bench is into it now just brand and dalembert need to get their **** together cause sam is like impossible to trade. ed definitely made the right choice letting mo cheeks go.

I think hes given some players freedom that cheeks didnt give them. Players like Speights and lou can now make a mistake without looking back at the coach worrying to get benched.

only way kareem is getting time is if willie green gets hurt or if we play a team that has a back up shooting guard that cant create his own shoot/runs around screens all game.So basically teams like the pacers/grizzlies.

Yeah DiLeo is doing a great job. I just wanted to point out that I think what he is doing is similar to what Cheeks had the team do when they made their run last year. I think that Cheeks had to much pressure on him to make Brand the center piece. Im willing to bet if Cheeks was still coaching the team now and was not pressured into making Brand the center piece he would be doing just as good as DiLeo. Not that i'm trying to take anything away from DiLeo cause he has made it more enjoyable to watch the sixers again.

I will say Tony has managed the team a little better.

Not a chance in hell the heat and Pistons are not the greatest teams by any means but both have shown a little more strength than the sixers if only by a small margin. It's to early to make a prediction especially since it took every ounce of strength for the Sixers to make it to above 500. I don't feel they have the the poise to hold up staying above 500.

I don't think we flopped against the Pacers I just don't think we are that much better than them.

Heat are going to be a different team with O'Neil instead of Marion. Better or worse, nobody knows yet.

And the Pistons have lost 15 of their last 21 games. Ouch.
