Phantom nights by john farris. I was half way through the book but i stumbled upon the dan brown's newest book the lost symbol and bought it. Read a couple of pages just to get the feel of the story but it turns out to be a better page turner than the book i was initially reading. Both are very good thrillers however.

Also, started a book called pandora's seed by a genetic anthropologist, spencer wells, that explores the unintended consequences of the development of agriculture

and, I have started reading David Sedaris' Me Talk Pretty One Day as my new shitter book.

I wont bore you with my academic readings.

Good book. I like the way Hornby writes... very witty and sarcastic.

i picked up a book called Raven from the library earlier today. I saw a documentary on the Jim Jones cult on the history channel, and it piqued my interest. One of the reporters that actually survived the visit to the People's Temple wrote the book....should be a great read. Heartbreaking, but great.
