Default Nets could still stay in Jersey

Newark, NJSEA Nearing a Truce in Arena Wars
April 16, 2009, 11:30 am
The Nets may never play any regular season games in Newark, but they served as a useful foil to get talks moving between Newark and the NJSEA on ending the arena wars. Two days ago, Mayor Cory Booker demanded the state agency not upgrade the IZOD Center, saying it would hurt “The Rock” and deny his city a chance at getting the Nets. Now, it turns out the state may both upgrade IZOD and run “The Rock”.

Nets could just stay at the Izod center...

Unless they learn how to teleport people to the IZOD center, aka the middle of f*cking nowhere, upgrading it is pointless.

There will be a train station in the Meadowlands starting next season.

I still wish they'd just move to the Rock already.

I don't understand why they just don't play at the Prudential Center in Newark. It'd make everyone's lives easier.

Seriously. And from a business standpoint it makes sense too. If you bring the team to where the fans are (aka: in cities and not swamps) you will have better attendance.
