I have started a league very similar to the Quick GM league many of you may be aware of. It's called D-Quick GM, and it's somewhat like the D-League to Quick GM. And instead of using normal NBA franchises, we'll be using the D-League affiliates and teams.
The twist with this league, is that it's void of the star players, and it puts the TRUE NBA fan to the test, by compiling a team of Non All Stars to see who can do the best.
This league is super active, and super competitive, and QuickGM is the funnest basketball fantasy GM game I've ever played. It's addicting, I'll tell you that.
If you have played QuickGM before post here and let beginners know how much fun it is.
Need 3 more GMs. Random roster will be given when league is full.
Join the board, claim a team and read the rules. Game will start up as soon as the League is full. You must be really active and have a good basketball IQ.
Rules -
~Everybody will be given a roster of random players(15 players). You will trade players to make the best possible 10 player team at or under $30 million.
~One team per Individual. You can not run multiple teams. People doing so will be banned.
~Everyone starts with 13 random players.
~Final roster size is a maximum of 10 players by tournament time.
~Keep your "Team Roster" up to date at all time.
~When Trading has stopped I will ask everyone to place there final rosters, salaries and strategy(optional) in the Divisional Playoffs board.
~Please use this EXACT prototype!

~Each team is given about 14 days to make as many trades as possible.
~If the higher end of the trade equals:
-$5 or less the 2 parties have to be within $1 of each other.
-$6 to $10 the 2 parties have to be within $2 of each other.
-$11 to $15 the 2 parties have to be within $3 of each other.
-$16 to $20 the 2 parties have to be within $4 of each other.
-$21 and above the 2 parties have to be within $5 of each other.
~If there is a trade involving more than 2 parties, Every team has to be within the above guidelines with at least one other team involved.
Example:
Kings receive:
Charlie Bell $2
Sonics receive:
Damon Jones $1
Clippers receive:
Tim Thomas $3
~Players who's salaries equal $1 million may be traded without a player in return.
~After trade has been agreed on, one of the parties must create a thread in the "Trades" Board with the title being that of the teams involved in the trade. In the description place the players being traded with the salaries. Then Both parties have to post a message in that thread confirming there acceptance of the trade.
~Trades pending for more than 24 hours will be deleted.
~Trades must be approved by a Moderator before you can modify you roster.
~The Tournament will last 1 days per round.
~There will be 2 brackets. 1 vs 8 matchup and 4 vs 5 matchup in one and the 2/7 and 3/6 matchup in the other.
~I or a mod will create a poll for each game.
~There are 4 rounds: End of Season Poll, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Finals.
~In the End of Season Polls you vote vote for the top 8 teams in the league.
~Teams will be seated by votes received.
