Default Was it just me or did Marcus Banks not impress?

I thought he had more knowledge of the game, and knew what do in the situations like one of the commentators said " He lacks basic basketball fundamentals"........

Hopefully he fits and learns a thing or two from the reigning MVP point guard "Steve Nash"

Before you guys start rippin on me, I only saw the first half of the game so I might have missed some of Banks' good latter decisions

What do you guys think?

Banks has HUGE up side, mostly his physical nature. We must understand that this was his first game in a suns uniform. He is still getting to underestand the suns style and the players. I am waiting untill the 2nd or 3rd week of the regular season to make my final judgment on him.

I've heard nothing but good about him in practice. Coach Mike hasn't said one bad thing about him.

Give him some time. I have a feeling he won't disappoint.

Yeah, it's too early to bag on Banks. The guy may be our best off-season acquisition. He made a sacrifice to come here, and we need a back-up PG.

Besides, how can any back-up look good following Nash?

I was acutally thinking more along the lines of Magic in his prime. Or perhaps a World Championships backup PG named 'Bron.

Livingston has a long ways to go to even be as good as some 6-7 guards you didnt mention like Steve Smith, Penny, and Brian Shaw.

Vs. The Flakers:

23 minutes, 0-7, more TOs than Assists.

This guy will have to pick it up if he's going to stay in the rotation.

Why do we always make Smush Parker look like an All-star??

Well we need to hold our judgemant on him for bit.....But trading ROndo and Williams away might prove to be a huge mistake the way they have performed in the pre-season.

Amares form is encouraging however, hopefully he takes it easy though and doesnt get to excited, one more slip up and i think we will all lose the faith.

I think Kurt should start at centre at least till the all star break.

Boris Diaw continues to impress lets hope he is signed before too long...he is just great to watch.

Still don't get why the Suns didn't get Williams when he was gift wrapped for them.

Banks better work out or its back to 35+ minutes/game for Nash. We all know how that one ends.
