I dont know how far either of them are in their recovery but i think Jay Williams has a better skill set and will be able to adapt to lost athleticism better. Dejaun was just a flat out scorer and without and athletic advantage i think he could struggle with getting his shot. Jay is a better passer and could come off the bench for a team and run the offense while the starter takes a breather.

Wagner almost made the Warriors last season. Was one of the last cuts and I think had a partial guarantee.

I'm certainly taking the Wagner of the two.

Wagner did make the Warriors but was bought out because of health issues. Last I heard of Jay Williams is that he cut by the Austin Toros. HE had 11 turnovers in his first NBDL game.

On the Thorpe chat the other day on ESPN, he said Jay Williams is no longer trying to come back, that he and his doctors have determined that it's a physical impossiblity at this point.

i'd say wagner definitely. i read a scouting report that said williams' lateral movement is slow due to his accident. plus, williams is an idiot for riding a bike in the 1st place and he's lucky skiles paid him for going against this contract.

i was surprised that anyone would pick Jay Williams. The only chance he had at making an NBA roster was this past season and he couldn't make it. He's not going to get any better while Wagner is still killing every league that he's been in. He would be a great option for almost any team in need of scoring once he's healthy. I'm not sure if he 100% right now or will be in the near future, but he WILL be back in the NBA before he turns 28.
