not impressive on paper at all. also taking into account the cowboys in recent years haven't been that good at drafting i wouldn't be too encouraged.

The first part of your statement is true, the draft does not look good on paper. The second part is false, the Cowboys have been good at drafting the past few years.

I don't see what's so good about your recent drafts. Ware is the only one that really stands out to me.

Look at those names and make note of the amount of later round picks that are either still on The Cowboys roster or still in the league.

I admit their last draft was good (Jones was a reach but he's a player) but all of their other drafts are complete trash (besides 05 draft).

The Cowboys are not that good at drafting. They aren't the worst but drafting is clearly not a strength when you examine the results closely ^^

Their last draft was good I'll give them that. Their first 5 picks are all good players or showed flashes that they could become contributors.

It's way too early to call last year's draft a success.

I wouldn't go that far. Unless all of those players in last years draft get injured or stop developing I think it's pretty apparent that the Cowboys landed a lot of impact players/key contributors/starters from 08's draft.
