my opinion...dont care if u dont like it

I love seeing Budden getting recognized. He gets overlooked way to much he's been putting great material for at least a good 7-8 years now. The man's a beast.

I love them both to be honest. I wanted to put down all of Binary Star but since the thread topic is "favorite MC's" i decided to pick one and senim silla was just the first one to pop in to my head. I would agree that one man army is better than silla on many tracks, but not all of them.

Scarface >> Pac

1. Nas
Just me favorite of all time. Illmatic is my favorite album, love his wordplay, delivery, flow, ect, has a lot of dept in his ****...

2. Jay-Z
The most rounded MC ever IMO.. just not as talented as Nas IMO

3. Biggie
Maybe be 1 or 2 if he would of come out with more ****

4. Common
The man is the king of the metaphors.. sorry Rakim

5. Pharoahe Monch
Almost all of his **** is classic... if not all of it. Dont sleep on Desire. VERY dope album

6. Black Thought
The Roots are MY ****. Black THought really penned down some of the deepest **** i ever heard.

7. Scarface
cant forget about my ***** Scarface. what do i have to say about him?

8. Gza
My favorite member from the Wu Tang Squad. Liquid Swords is my favorite album next to Illmatic "check out my Avy"

9. Kool G Rap
he kinda fell off now, but he knew how to cook up some **** back in the day. 4,5,6 is actually the album i play the most from him

10. Andre 3000 "Outkast"
They put out some dope ass music, but since its MCs so imma pick the better rapper.

1. Nas
2. Rakim
3. GZA
4. Kool G
5. Common
6. KRS
7. Big Daddy Kane
8. Black Thought
9. Tupac
10.LL Cool J

I agree, Pac is overrated.

But his impact is almost unparalleled, and he is very good when he wants to be (not consistently enough for me tho).

If I were to replace him, it'll have to be with Scarface or Cube.

But Pac's legacy and influence is too big to ignore, wether we want to or not.

damn, my **** is straight underground.

1- pharoah (from street military)
2- tommy wright III (street smart records)
3- c-9 (street smart records)
4- bizzy bone (older stuff)
5- twista (everything before kamakaze)
6- z-ro (everything before king of the ghetto)
7- k-roc (from memphis)
8- p-child (from c.o.g)
9- smitty roe (from half-dead organization)
9- lord infamous (3-6 mafia)(before 2000)

i tend to like the older stuff before they got known. the underground is always the best.
...and they all tongue twist.

I completely agree. Budden would def be on my list. He battles some real-life demons it seems, and I love that about his subject matter. Not a self-proclaimed man with all the answers. Some real $hit. His lyrical abilities are amazing. His tone and flow have so much grit and emotion. That's why I am one of his biggest fans as well.

Great to see Royce on someone's list as well. This dude is a great, under-the-radar emcee thats been doing it for a long while now. Dunno if he would crack my list, but def deserves some kudos as a vet of the game
