Default Red Wings got ROBBED

Wow. Refs blew the whistle for no reason to negate a tying goal for Detroit. The puck was not covered up. it was just sitting on the crease when Detroit player put it in, but the refs blew the whistle. NO goal. Red Wings cant even challenge

There goes the series.

Does this mean there is a conspiracy in the NHL like the NBA has with David Stern then?

He didnt just blow the whistle because he felt like it. He lost sight of the puck and the ref needs to blow his whistle. The series is not close to being over, Detroit is the best team on the road and can easily tie it up heading back home.

But the whistle went off after the puck went into the net... I don't see how the whistle matters at all...

yeah he lost sight of the puck. But it wasn't even like there was a bunch of bodies on top of it. It was right in the open. The ref fu kked up. Where was he positioned? And by the replay the puck was in before you heard the whistle

The announcers said that you need to take into account the ref bringing the whistle to his mouth and blowing the whistle that is why it is not a reviewable play.

Yea the ref messed up. He was behind the net but my guess is that he was looking at hitler, didnt see the puck and blew the whistle.

Behind the net where he should have been. The puck was right in front of his eyes. But I guess he was seeing dollar signs

And its not like he blew it while the puck was sitting in the crease. He blew it after the puck went it.

Why are you convinced that he rigged the game?

Jan. 8--SAN JOSE, Calif. -- The Blue Jackets packed their bags quickly and stormed out of HP Pavilion on Saturday. Part of the rush was the latenight flying restrictions out of San Jose's airport. But the Blue Jackets also wanted to leave the scene of a crime as soon as possible. An egregious error by NHL officials Brad Watson and Craig Spada helped the Sharks beat the Blue Jackets 5-2. "It's a shame," Blue Jackets defenseman Rostislav Klesla said. "It's terrible
