Default Nuggets Scrimmage, Blue vs. Gold

Found this little extract at the bottom of a DenverPost.com article.

Quote:
Blue and gold scrimmage

Forward Carmelo Anthony scored a game-high 32 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a losing effort for the Gold team in a 121-116 loss in a 40-minute intrasquad scrimmage Saturday night at Fort Lewis College.

Nene had 15 points; rookie guard Yakhouba Diawara had 25 points and Evans had 13 points and 17 rebounds.

"It's a scrimmage - lot of good, lot of bad," Karl said. "We aren't in condition enough to play a 48-minute game. Our guys hung in there."

Camby missed the scrimmage with a sore right groin.

Very high scoring considering it was only 40 minutes dont you think.

Im impressed that Carmelo had 10 rebounds as well, especially considering his offseason has hardly comprised of any rest - he must be in very good shape, particularly when you think of all the bigs he would be playing alongside.

Nice to see Nene getting points on the board, and Diawara putting up a nice 25 point game.

Reggie dosnt apper to have lost his rebounding capacity over the break.

All in all, sounds pretty good for us i would think.

its an inter-squad preseason scrimmage, boykins could have pulled down 10 rebuonds and I wouldn't of cared. It doesn't really mean anything.
