Yeah they really let Denver get away with everything, you know, with the whole 34 fouls committed and 49 free throws Dallas shot.

You ****ing idiot....

Dallas was getting homer calls all day long. Carmelo got pushed around every time he drove to the basket but only one was called.

Then the stupidest fouls were called on Nene, Smith, and Billups...

For all you know if all the proper fouls were called in that game Nuggets could have won the game anyways.

Yea, the refs were terrible yesterday. There was one possession where Anthony Carter stole the ball and was on his way for a layup (and Terry fouled him...it would have been a clear path foul) but they decided to call an off-ball foul on Birdman and gave the ball back to the Mavericks and they scored...That's a 6 point swing right there.

reffing was perfectly fine yesterday. Denver and Dallas just fould A LOT, no way around it. Every single call was legit, and on the play you mentioned Birdman was just running someone over. How can you not call that?

The refs even got it right in the end for not calling a foul. Fouls should only be called if the fouled player was put at a disadvantage.

They sure did! Freakn Fakers embarrased themselves.

Nuggs sweep Mavs and watch the rest of the teams get tired and focus on beating whoever is next.

Go Nuggs, You gotta broom I can borrow!

only complaints about last night's game:

1. nene, you have to dunk the ball. just because you've played a long season doesn't mean you can't finish strong. you're 6'10''.

2. karl, dahntay jones needs to be in the game at the end instead of anthony carter. he's your best perimeter defender and has the length to bother terry's corner shot. plus he's quicker than ac. don't know what karl was thinking. the same thing would happen against the rockets or the lakers with battier or fisher in the corner. every team we could potentially face on the way to the finals has a plethora of solid three point shooters. you combat that with length, get a hand in the face.

3. 89 free throws??!?

theyve been calling it that way for the nuggets the whole series. they just decided to call it both ways in game 3. Also the nuggets look really retarded with alot of the foul calls they argue and how in the hell birdman didnt get a T is beyond me. For instance the billups steal on dirk where he sat there for a minute when they called a foul is as obvious of a foul as you will ever see and he acted shocked they called it. The nuggets foul. ALOT. They reach in and they body people on every possession. Thats fouling.

youre both right. The mavs committed a ton of fouls in denver. We really cant defend denver without fouling. The problem is in denver, denver was fouling the hell out of dallas with no calls on the other end and that was the problem. The majority of the highlight fastbreaks come off of reach ins. Specifically jr smith. He gets bruce bowen level benefit of the doubt and im not sure why.

as for the shot, the underreported aspect of the game is if they didnt call it a foul, melo traveled. He hopped and landed with his feet at different times so it couldnt have been called a jump stop. You have to call something.
