Birdman seems like such a real down to earth dude.

But yea, the half finished off nicely, seemed like a better pace and some better looking shots. Nene being 0-7 kinda bothers me, but his rebounding has been great, he was a man among boys on the boards, now he just has to be a man and dunk the ball.

Melo also finished the half nicely, and man Dirk made a big three. Both the stars having great first halfs, especially Dirk who I am finding a new found respect for.

Just tune into the game and Denver is somehow leading on the road, despite shooting 33%

Mavs down 3 at halftime, Dirk with 21/9, Melo with 19/5.

The Mavs beside Dirk shot 8-30 from the field, if they doesn't step up the series is over before it is a series.

Obviously you do not know JR Smith. That shot is well within his range and George Karl has said he doesn't mind if he shoots long threes because he knows he makes them.

i know jr smith. i know he does make those long range 3 points. but that was just too long. sure it was on his range, it would be probably on most shooter's range but that doesn't mean he can take it on a very close game.

if the denver nuggets were leading by at least 10 points, sure.. take it.. but not when the game was that close..
did he make it ?? no.. airball..

Is it just me or does Dirk always put his foot in bounds after a made basket? It's like some sort of optical illusion...

Again, that shot was not too long at all. JR's got range for 3-4 feet out from that. And who gives a **** if it's a close game, it was the second quarter. If it's in the 4th with 2 minutes left, then I see your point.

If the Mavs lose this game, they deserve a slap in the face. The refs are handing them the game....
