I hope the Lakers don't take their foot off the gas in this one, especially if Yao is out. I think they are learning from their mistakes but they still slack a lot.
With Yao out now, the Lakers have no reason to not attack the basket. The Rockets will be quicker to recover on the pick and roll but they'll be seriously undersized.

Yeah, I read some of those. I don't know if they know how big of a deal it is to have a 7'6" player standing in the paint. People really don't want to go in there, even other 7-footers.
the only thing the lakers have to worry about is themselves... if they show up and play a focused and intense game with heart, there's no way the rockets can beat them, yao or no yao....
I actually think the Rockets small lineup matches up better with the Lakers. I wouldn't shocked if they came out guns blazing and took this once. I still see the Lakers winning the series, but don't count out a very scrappy team.
