Default Still Tim Duncan is the best player on Earth.

most experts keep saying that if TD is healthy, He is the top on the list.

right now, every BAsketball fans feel that he is completely healthy.

So, TD is still the best player in the world.

Duncan's still effective, but i think he's past the days of best player on earth status. Right now i think that position comes down to LeBron vs. Kobe.

definetely Shaq is getting older and older,
but, Duncan is still in the prime...
without serious injury, Duncan is still Duncan.

It doesn't matter if he's healthy, he still is the most complete basketball players in today's game-he can do EVERYTHING except shoot threes and make free throws. . Even in the 05 playoffs, he put up great numbers for having two bum ankles. And if you saw the Mavs-Spurs series last year, you know he's not finished.

Don't be surprised if he puts up under 20 ppg this year. He's taken the Shaq route - what I mean by that is he cruises through the regular season and turns it up for the playoffs, when it matters.

He''s obviously put up a great effort in rivaly/important games during the season, but you won't see him going all out consistently.

Again, that conclusion many people draw is overshadowed by his injuries. We really haven't seen a 100% healthy Duncan over the last two seasons, so of course he's not going to be able to give a lot of effort. Now, if he does that this season and remains 100% healthy, then I'll agree with you.

Timmy is great. . . but Tony Parker is the most exciting player on that Spurs team. Tim Duncan's game is fundamental, but Parker is fast as lightning, he's by far one of if not the most quickest player in the league. And he has nice spin moves and floaters, I rather see that than watch Duncan slowly score 20 and grab 11 rebounds.

Only reason parker gets the freedom to do that is because of Tim Duncan's boring 20 and 11
