Default who mountain bikes?

Such an enjoyable past-time. Good for the body and is insanely fun. What kinda bike do you have? Plan on getting?

I just have a crappy walmart bike that I plan to ride until it falls apart and can't be fixed for more than 20 bucks and than I'll look into a real mountain bike. Hopefully a nice used one of craigslist or something.

I love my Scott. I just got it like a month ago. Before that I had an old Giant that was way too small for me.

No dude get a new bike. I recommend a Scott. The difference between department store bikes and real bikes really is that big. Most things I would just say get whatever's cheaper ... but not bikes.

I got mine for $400 but I think it's worth about $550. My friend works at a bike shop.

Ya the pos is already falling apart so it won't be long... Haha i bent the crank just by riding. didn't even crash... the sprocket guard is half broken off. the plastic pedals are both cracked a bit. and I think the rear wheel axel may be bent so I don't think it's going to be long before i buy a new one...

I've actually been looking for a bike to ride around on. mostly for exercise, but do want a bike i can take off road.

saw this Rhino 21 speed on craigslist for $100 (with pics)...

http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/bik/1161704218.html

is that a good deal? .... i know nothing about bikes.

for financial reasons, I cant spend any more than $100 really, on any bike. so it's gotta be something used of course, but sturdy, and not too ancient.

I ride quite a bit. I have two mountain bikes and a road bike. My mountain bikes are a Giant Reign and I have a Kona Nunu hardtail.

Mike, PM me if you want to ride sometime. I have some great trails very close to my house too.

That Schwinn is tight Deuces, I've got a couple of old bikes from that era that are similar (a Puegeot and Fuji). They color schemes (like yours) are beautiful.
I'd get some new bar tape though if I were you.

Cannonball my Uber V retailed for 2,500 but I bought it like 3 years ago for 700. It is one of the best high suspension rides and literally like a child of mine. Before I went full suspension I'd ride a hard tailed Kona and a Specialized Rock Hopper. You can get great deals of used mountain bikes if you know what you are looking for.

Brooklyn - That bike is nice man. Are you happy w/ it thus far?

ELL - Where are you riding in that picture? Looks familiar.
