I laugh at anyone who argues that it's not a good move.
Bonzi Wells, all things good and bad taken into consideration, is an absolute NO BRAINER acquisition for 2 million dollars. It's called extremely low risk and high reward. The absolute worst that happens is that he doesn't perform and isn't happy, so the Rockets ship his VERY EASILY tradeable contract somewhere else for a role player in return. No skin off their back when it's all said and done.
The fact that the team's more apparent needs may be at other positions is really irrelevant.
