On Saturday's WWE.com Byte This with Vince McMahon, the WWE Chairman said the following:
WWE.com needs more sexuality and needs stories about many of their talents rather than many stories about a few talents.
Eric Bischoff's book contained some revisionist history about the end of WCW as it related to WCW's finances.
Hulk Hogan vs. Steve Austin will never happen much like Ali vs. Marciano was always an interesting "what if" for fans.
ECW's rating is "fair" and is a long way away from where it can be. The car wreck matches get old after six weeks and the brand needs to be about characters and personalities. ECW may grow to two hours in time but first the one hour show needs to be done correctly and the ECW talent roster needs to be built up first.
Kurt Angle was a big loss to WWE but Kurt Angle pushes himself to hard and cannot think long term. If Kurt keeps pushing himself, he will not be able to bend over and pick up his grandchildren. WWE and Kurt had an understanding that he would have taken lots of time off and healed completely and return to WWE but he has the legal right to return to wrestling with a competitor but his return is much too soon.
Chris Benoit's rteurn will be big and Chris was smart by asking to take time off to heal physically and mentally.
WWE will have the sexiest women on television and the Divas being intersting characters who sometime strip is more important than being pure women wrestlers.
Cryme Tyme is the opposite of racist. It's fun and it's funny. WWE needs some degree of controversy and WWE can always pull back. Katie Vick was hysterical but the fans thought otherwise so WWE ended it.
The new WWE Magazine is a refelection of the WWE audience and thr previous RAW and SmackDown Magazines talked down to WWE's audience.
Vince McMahon is not Mr. McMahon but there are palells and and some people probably think that Vince is Mr. McMahon, like Bob Costas who insulted WWE and WWE's audience. If Costas was bigger, he would have been slapped across the face.
The XFL was a lot of fun and a good business venture. It was a calculated risk and the reward out weighed the risk. NFL's relationship with the media hurt the XFL and NFL pulling out was the end of the XFL or the XFL would still be on the air.
Finlay is a favorite because he is a throwback, a tough and rugged bastard and being Irish scores him points.
If TV is live than nothing can go wrong because even a train wreck make for good live TV occasionally.
Creative oversight is the most fun part of being WWE Chairman, not being an on screen performer.
The art of wrestling and matches that display that art such as matches with Benoit and Finlay are his favorites.
The entire interview can be seen at WWE.com.
