Until recently, I thought Portland fans were some of the most level headed fans. Maybe many still are, but you bring down curve for everyone else.

(btw - if you weren't blinded by those rose colored glasses, you would have noticed that the technical foul was originally called for the BENEFIT of Artest by him simply running away)

Would have been two if they hadn't rescinded this one. I think that's why they did rescind it, actually -- they know that Kobe's a hothead.

No, they rescinded it because the actions did not warrant a technical foul.

How many other techs have been rescinded this postseason, or even during the regular season? I know FLAGRANTS have been reviewed and downgraded, but a tech?

Ah no more Blazers to hype up anymore so back to hating on the Lakers again I see. Did you even watch the game? The technical was not warranted, not even close.

It reallllllly wasnt. I mean look, I have no issue with sitting back and going "okay, that was obviously Kobe being an idiot"

But when I saw this play, i was like uh....wtf just happened there? It was so uncalled for it was ridiculous.

They didn't even show a good replay. And Artest tongue was cut, so don't say it was nothing.

If anything, they should've called a tech on Artest for his overreaction and trying to make a situation out of NOTHING. He lost all his credibility with this one.

I'm not saying he didn't get hit, but it didn't look intentional and Kobe wasn't trying to provoke him. Some contact was there, but if you've played ball you know that **** happens and sometimes you get hit. That doesn't mean a technical foul is given out each time. It was unnecessary. Even a personal foul would've sufficed.

You might as well be trying to talk to a brick wall. This guy is just going to find another way to see some sort of bias in the league's decision.

Kobe didn't deserve it in the 1st place, but anyone who didn't see this coming hasn't been watching the NBA for the past couple of years.... David Stern doesn't want Kobe Bryant suspended lol

Care to provide us a video or camera angle??

Mike Breen says in the vid above "Didn't seem like the left forearm connected at all"

Even the Rockets homer JVG says that was a pathetic foul call.

Watch the friggin video.
