Default How do you like your steak cooked?

Crispy
Well-Done
Medium
Medium-Rare
Rare

I'll start off the thread saying medium. I love the extra juiciness, but I hate the taste of blood.

Medium. Well done ruins a good steak. Rare is disgusting to me. I actually like my food to be cooked. Medium gives you the best of both worlds, like you said, juicy, but not bloody.

Medium-rare, but I don't mind medium if someone else is cooking them. I'm not one of those a-holes who gets pissed off if a rookie (or girl) overcooks my steak.

Rare.

The blood of the bovine invigorates one's life indirectly with the plethora of protein and vitamins. Not to mention, the utter grossness a burnt piece of perfectly good, organic flesh. The mark of man's grill need not be shown amongst the innocent edible cadaver of a Jersey Cow.

Medium. Though, if it's slightly over cooked or slightly under cooked from medium then I'm good with that, but I really don't like it when it's well done or there's too much blood.

Um, well done. I ain't no vampire. Plus, stuff grows in your body if it's not cooked all the way.

So good to have you back Mr. Money and as usual you are a man of good taste. It depends on the quality of the beef. A gently aged grade A prime cut could be served almost like sashimi as far as I'm concerned. Most standard steaks I order medium rare but, like hippos, I'm not too concerned if they come out medium as long as the flavor and moistness hasn't been cooked away. For those of you that like them well done a little word to the wise: Chefs hate to ruin a good cut of meat. When surveying the cuts in the fridge, the absolute worst looking, grisly ones are placed in the back and reserved for anyone requesting well done because they won't notice the bad quality since it will be cooked beyond recognition.

That any non-child would prefer a well-done steak baffles me.
