It wouldn't shock me if Denver stole game one. Hopefully the Lakers prove me wrong.
I would hope after losing game one to Houston, and seeing what can happen when you lose homecourt advantage, they will go out and play with the same intensity that they did in games 5 and 7. But, given their track record, you never know what team will show up.
Like I said before, Denver didn't beat ANYONE.
They beat a dismantled NO team and beat Dallas in 5, when it could have easily went 7. Anthony hit a huge shot in that 3rd game to take a commanding lead.
Neither of those teams are even close to LA's level, and Denver don't got HCA either.
I personally got tired a good week ago hearing about how Denver are these unbeatable demons and LA are overrated.
We'll see just how overrated the Lakers are in this series.

And the Lakers beat a depleted Utah team and depleted Rockets team, what's your point.

That's what I'm banking on. Hopefully the Lakers don't come out like lame ducks ever again. I'm afraid of that happening if they win both home games and in game 3 and 4 in Denver lay eggs. Can't do that with a team like the Nuggets....or the way the Nuggets are playing right now.
