Navarro was the Euroleague's MVP and you're asking what's the problem? wow
Navarro was worthless in the NBA and was only good at chuking 3's
...and clearly, NBA and FIBA games are not the same.

If you agree on the rules and games being different, then why do you judge him by his NBA play?

Raul Lopez who started for the Jazz in 2004, putting up 12 points and 9 assists a game before getting injured.

They start..but the best player on the team is Felipe Reyes who was ACB player of the year.. he also dropped like 19 on the USA in the gold medal game.
Bringing these guys up will not make anyone take your argument about the quality of the league seriously. The players bolded were straight up trash in the NBA.

Default Re: Ricky Rubio Sickest Pass in Today ACB playoffs

JC Navarro was second amongst scoring from Rookies last year.

The game is different though, that's why Josh Childress is just an average player in Europe. The smaller court negates the athleticism, and skill takes more precedence.

Josh Childress was an average player in the NBA as well.

I liked JCN as a shooter, but his style of play didn't adjust to the NBA and he didnt seem comfortable in the American culture where hes nothing more than a role player while in Spain hes viewed as a star.

Josh Childress is a star player in Europe, well in Greece.

You do realize he averaged 13/3.7 in 24 minutes, in Euroleague is different because they gameplan much more with certain players in different lineups similar to how manager's gameplan in soccer.

Hes paid like one.

I caught one of his Euroleague games on NBATV, he played pretty well although he played out of position a lot at the 4.

Not sure why they had him in the post.

FC Barcelona has Juan Carlos Navarro, Fran Vasquez (picked 11th overall by Orlando Magic, which would have game them a killer frontcourt, but he signed with Barcelona instead...needless to say the Magic were pissed!), Ersan Illyasova (former Milwaukee Buck) and David Anderson (who was drafted by the Hawks and may come over next year)

This year's MVP was Raul Lopez..who plays for Spains national team and torched the US in the Olympics.

The MVP voting this year was

1.Raul Lopez
2. Igor Rakocevic
3. Tiago Splitter
4. Fran Vasquez
5. Juan Carlos Navarro

***Rubio missed most of the season due to a wrist injury

In 2008 the MVP voting was

1.Marc Gasol
2.Rudy Fernandez
3.Ricky Rubio

Rudy and Ricky played on the same team. It was quite the exciting backcourt.

To give an indication of how good these ACB teams are.. The Lakers beat FC Barcelona 108-104 at the Staples Center this past October in a game played under NBA rules. Which was obviously a huge hindrance to FC Barcelona. And Unicaja beat the Grizzlies

Have you ever watched ACB are you making this **** up?

Raul Lopez MVP?

Felipe Reyes was the MVP kid.

That guy was incredible before his injuries. He had a bright future before him and he was on his way to becoming something special before all those almost-career-ending knee problems.

Hell no Raul Lopez sucked ass on the Jazz, couldn't defend a chair. Carlos Arroyo was a lot better player out of the 2 at the time.
