yeah in my business to business marketing class this semester my exam grades were 79, 66, 81....in my promo class they were 58, 91 and 80. It's all about what subject the exams are on

increasing or a drop from the 1st to 2nd test are both acceptable trends generally. But going from a 94 on the 2nd test (improved over the first by 20 pts) to a 42? It could be due to a change in the level of difficulty (hard to say without seeing the class averages), but it generally shows a distracted or overconfident student.
