The Laker's are going to have their first preseason game tomorrow and it's against Utah and it's going to be fun to watch Derek Fisher play against us!!
Boozer came close to becoming a Laker last year, his agent claimed he wanted to be on the Laker's but we couldn't trade Odom for him. Thank god!!
dont want to be rude but there is already a thread with this subject if you scroll down. I think we should start devin green at 3 tomorrow and see how it works.
Ya the one the funny qrich made but I just was excited that tomorrow was going to be the first preseason game and had to say something!!! But thanks anyway!!! Ya I want to see how Green does too!! But Mostly Jordan and Bynum!!
No worries Mario. Its good to be on a board where people dont snap on each other being on the same team. Ya i want to see bynum getting 20 minutes atleast and jordan some time. I would love to see how shammond plays and his 3pt shooting.
KCAL would be the only station who could pick it up locally, and they have a new "Dr. Phil" slotted in there so it doesn't seem likely. Maybe if for some reason a Utah TV station covers it the game may end up on NBA League Pass (is League Pass even going yet?) - mostly though, it seems like we'll have to wait until Thursday to see them on TV.
After two intrasquad scrimmages and seven days of practices, the Lakers finally will play against another team.
Rambis said he will decide on a starting lineup today on the flight up to Fresno for tonight's game. The Lakers will take 18 players on the trip, but Chris Mihm (right ankle surgery) will stay home.
Rambis said he expects players to have a few turnovers.
"But hopefully there will be segments of the game where they'll settle down and execute the offense and make some progress," Rambis said. "And they're actually playing against somebody else, which is probably a big relief for guys in training camp. They finally get to beat on somebody else. ... Usually that first game is not too pretty. Maybe that's why they're not televising the game."
