Barcalona's game for the first half and Messi proving that he is infact the best attacking midfielder in the game today.

Good first half. Barca seemed nervous at the start, but got better as the game went on. Hope to see more of the same.

Man U will definitely get more and better chances when Tevez comes on.

Iniesta is still quite ailing, but whenever he and Xavi start moving the ball like they do, good things happen. Eto'o's goal was nice, broke the defender's ankles nicely. I don't get all the hype about United's defense. Vidic and Ferdinand are strong and quite good overall, but they lack quickness and agility. O'shea is versatile, but average, and Evra will dream of Eto'o tonight. I'm expecting Messi to actually start challenging Utd's defense with his high-speed dribble. When he gets the ball between the Manchester's defense and midfield he has quite an open lane before him.
P.S. Bruinlove, your posts in this thread are a testimony to your overwhelming retardation. You fail at discussing soccer just like you fail at life.

wasn't as exciting as it was billed to be. Man U looked out of sorts, not my kind of soccer game.

Barcelona's first goal was too much for United.

I've said it many times lately, but Iniesta and Xavi are both top 5 in the world. Ronaldo choking on the big stage once again. It seems pigs actually do fly, right Hippos?

Messi proved nothing other than he can hit an unmarked header.

What a disappointing final, in fact much of the championsleague this year has been disappointing apart from Chelsea's matches. Well atleast the scum didn't win, and Chelsea went out to the Champions well done barcelona, and congrats to Messi actually doing something against an English team.

Manchester United, no heart no passion and their supporters were a joke, after the first goal you heard nothing out of them. The supporters gave up and thus the team gave up, you don't hear liverpool or chelsea fans giving up like that, because everyone in that manc section was just bandwagoning scum.

Well I tell you it was a bad final but hopefully next year will improve and we can bring Ribery in to stamford bridge

congrats Barcelona you played well it was a poor match

Well, Berbatov sucked. He had few touches and the touches he did have were terrible. Didn't make the best passes, put too much power behind passes.

Apart from Messi's goal, which was really good, the game was pretty boring.

Barca made ManU look like a cellar dwelling premier league team.
