Default Tyler Smith may play in Europe next season

http://www.tennessean.com/article/20...ying+overseas+

Quote:
Tennessee’s Tyler Smith says he’s now considering playing professional basketball overseas next season.

Smith, who was in Knoxville on Monday after returning from the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago over the weekend, said the money would have to be right.

Smith, a rising senior forward, originally wasn’t open to the idea of playing overseas.

But after learning how well former UT player Marcus Haislip is faring playing professionally in Italy, both from a financial and developmental standpoint, Smith is reconsidering.

Marcus Haislip...boy that kid could jump. I remember when he and Kenyon Martin went up for a rebound and he out jumped Kenyon clearly, got the ball and put it back for a dunk. Out jumping a guy like Kenyon ain't easy.

tyler smith is way too good for that- he should be between pick 15-25 and should be an instant rotation player in the nba- i cant figure why nobody is rating him around earl clark and james johnson and summers- if he goes to a 25-30 pick that would be a steal.

Shan Foster was the SEC player of the year and was drafted in the 2nd round by the Mavs last year. Played for Vanderbuilt in College. He was a very good 3pt shooter.

Usher, I mean Shan Foster, played for Eldo Caserta in the Italian league averaging 10 points in about 30 minutes a game.
